Introduction
On the occasion of the Expo Milano 2015, Scoopa invite Architects, Engineers, Artists, Designers and students to submit their proposals to be exhibited at their exhibition space and to be presented to a worldwide public in this Universal Exposition. Expo Milano 2015 is a part of the history of the Universal Expositions that have been celebrated all around the world since the second half of the XIX century. This year’s event will take place from the 1st of May to the 31st of October.
The theme of the Expo Milano 2015 is: Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life. The application of this theme includes architecture, agriculture, environmental issues, alternative energy sources, climate change, food security livestock farming, the adoption of genetically modified organisms and the conservation of biodiversity.
The winning entries of these proposals will occupy a designated space inside the Cascina Triulza – Civil Society Pavilion from the 29th of June to the 5th of July, dates on which we will be curating this exhibition. This is a great opportunity to show your designs to a public that is eager to see the best solutions in different disciplines.
Expo Milano 2015 stands as a platform for discussion and collaboration; themes that not only involve the questions of food production but also the broader issue of the political and economic choices that face us.
